Seamless Steel Pipe

This specification covers wall seamless and welded carbon and alloy steel pipe intended for use at low temperatures. The pipe shall be made by the seamless or welding process with the addition of no filler metal in the welding operation. All seamless and welded pipes shall be treated to control their micro-structure. Tensile tests, impact tests, hydro-static tests, and nondestructive electric tests shall be made in accordance to specified requirements.

S355/EN 10210 Seamless Steel Pipe

S355 steel pipe has good welding performance, plasticity, toughness and processing technology, good corrosion resistance, high strength and low cold brittle critical transition temperature. The use of high-strength low-alloy steel can effectively reduce the weight of the structure, improve the strength and stiffness of the structure, and improve durability while reducing the thickness of the structure. S355 seamless steel pipes are commonly used in the production of bridges, ships, power station equipment, lifting and transportation machinery, machinery manufacturing and other engineering and welded structural parts that bear higher loads.

GB/T8162 Seamless Steel Pipe

GB/T8162 is a standard seamless pipe, suitable for seamless pipes in general structures and mechanical structures. The parts after quenching and tempering of GB/T8162 seamless steel pipe have good comprehensive mechanical properties and are widely used in various important structural parts, especially those connecting rods, bolts, gears and shafts that work under alternating loads. However, the surface hardness is low and not wear-resistant. Quenching and tempering, as well as surface quenching can be used to improve the surface hardness of the parts.
